Peter Lion had been inclined towards writing at a very early age. Throughout his growing up years in Connecticut he was seen dabbling in poetry as well as wrote a number of short stories. He set out to make a career of his passion with the words by first getting a degree in Journalism through the Southern Connecticut State University. He printed his very first magazine article in the Hartford Magazine before he graduated with his journalism degree.
He ventured to the television business before he’d finished his college. A couple of months before graduation, Peter Lion took up a job with WTNH-TV as a part time graphics operator. He mastered the ropes rapidly, understanding the technicalities in the workings of a television network and continued to be a part of the channel for over a period of two years.
Then he moved to Boston and started working with WSBK as a Technical Director. He labored on several projects, his major one being the Boston Red Sox Baseball and Boston Bruins Hockey. Nevertheless, his desire to be in television with the exceptional passion for writing pulled him back in his home state as a part of a small television station start-up.
He signed up with this team as a director as well as a technical director with the 10 PM news cast, which was to be the very first within the state. He has been a two time winner in the Emmy awards, even though he has been nominated many times for his contribution while in the television industry. He got his first Emmy for his work with Sports Centre and received his second Emmy for the show NFL countdown.
Besides working, Peter Lion is presently focusing on his second book. He’s additionally a part of a band that goes by the name of Cheaper than Therapy” and is its lead singer and guitarist
